Otolaryngology at Emory University
Dr. Young H. An joined ENT of Georgia and Atlanta Snoring Institute in July 2005. Dr. An received his medical degree with honors from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at Emory University. Dr. An is double board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also Board Certified in the specialty of Sleep Medicine.
Dr. An treats a wide range of pediatric and adult patients. His special interests include medical and surgical treatment of sinus and nasal breathing/allergy disorders, along with sleep apnea, snoring and sleep-related diseases. Dr. An completed his pediatric training at Egleston Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and also focuses on a variety of pediatric conditions including chronic ear disease, pediatric snoring, and chronic tonsillitis.
Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. An came to Atlanta in 2000 for his residency training at Emory University School of Medicine. He also met his wife here in Atlanta. Dr. An is active in his church and the community, mentoring college and high school students pursuing careers in medicine. He also serves as the drummer for his church music team every Sunday.
He primarily sees patients at the Fayetteville and Stockbridge locations of ENT of Georgia and Atlanta Snoring Institute and utilizes Piedmont-Fayette Community Hospital, Southern Regional Hospital and the Southlake Surgery Center to perform surgical procedures. He also has surgical privileges at Henry Medical Center.
