Dr. Dozier Hood is an Atlanta native and graduate of The Westminster Schools. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his surgery internship at Emory, followed by a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Georgetown University. He has been in private practice since 1997 and joined ENT of Georgia and Atlanta Snoring Institute in 2002. Dr. Hood is board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, a member of the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology, and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
Dr. Hood is double board certified in both Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and in Sleep Medicine. He is one of only 126 physicians in the United States who have earned this distinction.
Dr. Hood is married and the proud father of triplet boys. He sees patients in the Fayetteville office of ENT of Georgia and Atlanta Snoring Institute.
