ENT of Georgia is pleased to announce that Dr.Young H. An joined our practice on July 15, 2005. Dr. An received his MD degree with honors from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in Chicago. Dr. An completed his Residency in Otolaryngology at Emory University in June 2005. Dr. An is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also Board Certified in the specialty of Sleep Medicine.

Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. An came to Atlanta in 2000 for his residency training at Emory University School of Medicine. He also met his wife here in Atlanta. Dr. An is active in his church and the community, mentoring college and high school students pursuing careers in medicine. He also serves as the drummer for his church music team every Sunday.

In practice, Dr. An treats a wide range of pediatric and adult patients. His special interests include medical and surgical treatment of sinus and nasal breathing/allergy disorders, along with sleep apnea, snoring and sleep related diseases. Dr. An completed his pediatric training at Egleston Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and also focuses on a variety of pediatric conditions including chronic ear disease, pediatric snoring, and chronic tonsillitis. He is primarily at the Fayetteville and Stockbridge locations and utilizes Piedmont-Fayette Community Hospital, Southern Regional Hospital and the Southlake Surgery Center. He also has courtesy privileges at Henry Medical Center.

Dr. An is double board certified in both Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and in Sleep Medicine.  He is one of only 126 physicians in the United States who have earned this distinction.
