CV/BIO
Dr. Dozier Hood is an Atlanta native and graduate of The Westminister Schools. He received his undergraduate degree from the Unversity of Virginia and his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his surgery internship at Emory, followed by residency in Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery at Georgetown University. He has been in private practice since 1997, and joined ENT of Georgia in 2002. Dr. Hood is board certified Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery, a member of the Georgia Society of Otolaryngology, and a member also of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
His special areas of interest include: pediatric and adult otolaryngology, sinus and allergy disease, sleep apnea, thyroid surgery and head and neck surgery.
Dr. Hood is double board certified in both Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and in Sleep Medicine. He is one of only 126 physicians in the United States who have earned this distinction.
Dr. Hood is married and the proud father of triplet boys.
He sees patients in the Fayetteville and Riverdale offices of ENT of Georgia.
